MMA broadcasting is about to get lifted by a hip-hop legend.

On Friday, the UFC announced that Snoop Dogg has signed on to be a play-by-play commentator for the upcoming “Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series,” a Fight Pass-exclusive show designed to showcase up-and-coming talents as well as veterans looking for a second shot at the Octagon.

The 45-year-old rapper will team up with recently retired UFC fighter Urijah Faber on the “SnoopCast,” an alternative audio option that viewers will be able to switch to should they tire of a more traditional broadcast team.

“I’m a big fan of UFC and looking forward to joining the team to bring my unique take on all the action,” Snoop Dogg said. “Ya’ll in for a brand new experience with Dogg on the mic.”

“I can’t wait to call fights with the Cali legend Snoop Dogg,” Faber added. “Snoop is on another level. Hope he brings the gin because I’ll bring the juice, laid back.”

This isn’t the first time Snoop has offered his gift of gab to the Octagon. He’s previously recorded promos for the UFC, hyping up some of its star fighters as only he can.

The first episode of the “Tuesday Night Contender Series” airs July 11.
