The long-term future of the Los Angeles Clippers hangs in the balance, with three of their top stars in Chris Paul (ETO), Blake Griffin (ETO), and J.J. Redick (unrestricted) all eligible to leave in free agency this summer.

Management is reportedly hopeful that both Paul and Griffin will sign on the dotted line for max-level contracts, with a new deal for CP3 potentially going over the $205-million mark. This would leave Redick as the odd man out in the equation.

Redick, who will turn 33 years old in June, is reportedly looking to make $18 million-to-$20 million per year, league officials told the Los Angeles Times’ Broderick Turner. The Clippers won’t be willing to go that high for the sharpshooting guard, but will be more inclined to re-sign him if the price is right.

Los Angeles finished with two fewer victories than the year before at 51-31, ultimately bowing out of the first round of the playoffs sans Griffin (toe) in seven games to the Utah Jazz. It was the second season in a row they were eliminated that early, and sixth where they failed to reach the Western Conference finals.

Redick averaged just 9.1 points on 38 percent shooting from the field and 34.6 percent from 3-point range during that series. He also hit just one shot in 22 minutes of action during the winner-take-all finale at Staples Center.
