Phil Jackson doesn’t appear to be making any friends within the New York Knicks organization. After slumping to another dismal finish this season, a number of Knicks players have zero interest in running the triangle moving forward, and are openly rebelling against Jackson’s archaic offensive system, league sources told The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Despite the disdain for the triangle, Jackson reportedly has no plans to change to a more modern system, and has become increasingly determined to run the offense during the 2017-18 season.

“To Phil, the culture is the triangle,” a source told Wojnarowski.

Kristaps Porzingis is among the players who appears fed up with the team’s direction, and is planning on making an extended trip back to Latvia after reportedly skipping out on Thursday’s exit interviews.

In addition to Jackson, players are reportedly less than impressed with assistant coach Kurtis Rambis, whose coaching style has made him “beyond unpopular.”

It’s not the first time this week Jackson has found himself in the news for the wrong reason, as he received his fair share of criticism after openly expressing his desire to trade Carmelo Anthony this summer.
